Morocco confiscates 9.5 tons of cannabis


(MENAFN)The Moroccan security terminated during the last two days three smuggling operations, and confiscated 9.5 tons of cannabis.

According to a report by the Moroccan Police on Saturday, January 16th 2.360 tons of cannabis were confiscated and one individual was arrested close to the city of Ksar El-Kebir.

Two cars supposedly used to smuggle drug consignments were also confiscated.

In a second operation at the northern port of Nador, customs officials confiscate on Friday 2.380 tons of cannabis covered in nine containers of mineral consignments aimed for export.
