5 new cases of coronavirus recorded in Palestine, total to 466


(MENAFN) 5 new infections of coronavirus were registered on Tuesday, taking the total in Palestine to 466, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Ramallah.

3 infections were confirmed in Kafr Aqab village, north of Jerusalem, including a six-year-old boy, as said in a statement by the ministry.

2 new infections were registered in the Gaza Strip, bringing the number of cases in the besieged enclave to 17, as Ashraf al-Qedra, Spokesman of the Hamas-run Ministry of Health said.

With the declaration of the new infections, the total cases in Palestine have increased to 466, including 317 cases in the West Bank, 17 in the Gaza Strip and 132 in East Jerusalem.
