Qatar takes part in GCC environment meeting


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Qatar has participated in the 21st meeting of ministers responsible for environment affairs in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) in Muscat, Oman, with a delegation led by Minister of Municipality and Environment, H E Eng. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie.

The meeting, chaired by the Minister of Environment and Climate Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, Mohammed bin Salim Al Tobi, discussed a number of environmental issues related to the promotion and development of joint environmental action in light of the global challenges facing the environment and climate and developments in the areas and prospects for sustainable development.
