Hungary, Laos boost bilateral ties
(MENAFN) Hungarian President Janos Ader answered the invitation of Lao President Bounnhang Vorachit and paid a state visit to Laos from last Thursday to Saturday.
According to local daily Vientiane Times on Monday, the two presidents led a bilateral meeting of delegations held here Friday in the Lao capital of Vientiane.
Both sides said that their relationship had strengthened in multiple fields since they established diplomatic relations in 1962, and they highly valued their friendly and good cooperation.
A press release from the Lao Ministry of Foreign Affairs said "This strengthened friendship and cooperation is evident in the strong political relations between the two countries as demonstrated by reciprocal visits by delegations at multiple levels, from government leaders to technical staff, to share opinions and experiences, and to enhance the solidarity between the two countries,"
