Israeli warplanes raid various parts in Gaza
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) GAZA, Aug 21 (KUNA) -- Israeli warplanes launched a series of air strikes in different parts of the Gaza Strip on Wednesday.
Palestinian News Agency (PNA) said that Israeli warplanes bombarded a site west of Gaza City with at least three rockets, which resulted in fire and shattering the glass of the neighboring houses, but no injuries were reported.
Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes also targeted a position of the Palestinian resistance in central Gaza Strip with several rockets, which coincided with light bombs that targeted east of the city in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army claimed, in statement, that their air force raided a number of targets that belong to Hamas naval position in the northern Gaza Strip.
The Israeli army added the shelling was in retaliation for a rocket fire from the Gaza Strip earlier today, blaming Hamas for what is happening in or out of the Gaza Strip. (end)
