Bangladesh- Redwan from Dhaka wins the 'Shera Rondhonshilpi 2018' crown

(MENAFN- Bangladesh Monitor) The Grand Finale of the popular culinary reality show – Meizan Palm Olein Shera Rondhonshilpi 2018 was telecast on ATN Bangla yesterday, Friday, February 22, 2019. At the Grand Finale held at the Westin Dhaka, Redwan Ahmed from Dhaka was adjudged 'Meizan Palm Olein Shera Rondhonshilpi 2018.' He is a BBA student of 'Tourism and Hospitality Management' at the World University, Dhaka. Moshiur Rahman from Chittagong division won the Runners-up trophy while Suma Deb from Sylhet division was awarded the prestigious 'Prof. SiddiquaKabir trophy' for her outstanding knowledge on nutrition.
Top four culinary artists – Monir Hossain, Suma Deb, Moshiur Rahman and Redwan Ahmed demonstrated their culinary talent and skill, creativity in front of over 200 guests at the Grand Finale. The winners were awarded with trophy, cheque, Dhaka-Dubai-Dhaka air ticket among many others.
The exciting and glittering Grand Finale was attended by Dr. Mahfuzur Rahman, Chairman, ATN Bangla;KaziWahidulAlam, Editor, The Bangladesh Monitor; Inam Ahmed, General Manager, Bangladesh Edible Oil Ltd.; representatives from partner and sponsor organizations, culinary experts, social and cultural personalities and representatives from various corporate houses among others.
24 selected participants from 4 greater regions from the country participated in this edition of the TV reality show. ATN Bangla serially televised 14 episodes of the program since November last year.
The Bangladesh Monitor, an aviation and tourism fortnightly jointly with ATN Bangla presented the reality show. Meizan fortified palm oleinof the Bangladesh Edible Oil Ltd. was the title sponsor, while National Hotel and Tourism Training Institute, Omera LPG, Emirates Airline, The Westin Dhaka, Shwapno, Halda Valley Tea and Fit Elegance supported the program as the partners.
The annual Shera Rondhonshilpi competition, the premier culinary talent hunt event of the country is being organized by the Bangladesh Monitor since 2005 on a regular basis. The competition is being televised as the reality show by ATN Bangla since 2014.
