(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Manama, August 21, 2019, SPA -- Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,532.21 points marking a decrease of 2.48 points below the previous closing.
This decrease was due to the fall in the Commercial Banks Sector, Insurance Sector and Hotels & Tourism Sector.
Bahrain Islamic Index has closed at 745.00 points marking an increase of 0.18 points above the previous closing.
Results indicated that 75 equity transactions took place with a volume of 2,387,821 worth BD 425,899.
Investors traded mainly in the Services Sector representing %49.54 of the total value of securities traded.
