The Eid Al Adha celebrations kicks-off next week with lots of events and activities across Qatar. After finishing the festivities at home and meeting friends and relatives, head for one of these many events. There is meet and greet for kids to comedy and if weather permits head to one of the beaches readied by the municipality for families and singles.

The Carnival 2019 at Mirqab Mall

This Eid Al Adha, Mirqab Mall has planned a plethora of fun activities for children and their families to enjoy. There will be a wide variety of free events from fire shows, CoCo the Clown, Hula Hoop show to the interactive The Fun Studio by Qatar TV.

Eid Activities at Al Khor Mall

This Eid Al Adha, Al Khor Mall will be hosting a number of fun and exciting activities for children and adults alike. The activities include a Charlie Chaplin act, Bubble show, Henna and face painting. There will also be an Angry Birds roaming act on the 10th of August from 2:00pm 2:30pm. All events are free.

Summer Entertainment City 2019

Summer Entertainment City is reopening for the month of August as part of the Eid Al Adha celebrations.

The Virtual Reality and Gaming zone has some of the world's most advanced VR simulators, gaming stations and themed gaming areas for various ages spread on a 6,000sqm area, which is more than seven times bigger than last year.

They also have retro-gaming area for people 35 years old and above as well who can actually connect with games like Pac-Man, Atari and Sega. The main areas include amusement rides, skills games with prizes, trampoline park, a kids driving school setup, Qatar's first InflataPark, the world's largest bounce castle, a skate park, synthetic ice skating, Spider Climbing tower. Visitors can choose from cuisines offered by around 47 outlets, 70 percent of which are local, located in a food court .

Ticket prices range from QR15 QR entry to the SEC, or visitors can purchase Gold Pass for QR165, Gaming Pass for QR165, Season Pass for QR999 or Season Gaming Pass for QR1,250.

Eid Al Adha 2019 at Katara Cultural Village

Katara will be hosting many shows and activities for visitors in honor of Eid Al Adha. The shows are Dawn of the space age (3D), The perfect little planet and The astronaut (3D) to be screened at Al Thuraya Planetarium. Activities include a military parade and a children's playing area. The Eid special fireworks will also be there.

Eid Al Adha 2019 with Nickelodeon Rocks at MoQ

Mall of Qatar is all set to bring a wonderful Eid Al Adha celebrations to its visitors with exceptional free family entertainment with Nickelodeon Rocks.

Exclusively at Mall of Qatar, visitors can join Nickelodeon's PAW Patrol's Chase & Marshall, Shimmer & Shine, Dora the Explorer and SpongeBob in the best dance party ever on the Oasis Stage. After each show, audience members can take selfies with their favorite characters during the meet-and-greet. They can also participate in fun-filled games and experiences in the activity area located in East Gate 1.

The Little Mermaid Show 2019

Lagoona Mall will be hosting 3 daily shows for ‘The Little Mermaid' during the five days of Eid celebrations across the nation.

‘The Little Mermaid' tells the story of a beautiful young mermaid who longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above, where she falls in love with a prince. She follows her heart and with the aid of her lovable undersea friends enlists the help of the villainous sea witch to support her on her quest.

Doha Comedy Festival

This year's Doha Comedy Festival features crossover comedians, who perform in English but bring their unique worldviews to the stage. Combining East and West are British-Iranian Omid Djalili and Lebanese-American Nemr, who will perform alongside Qatar's own Hamad Al-Amari .

South Indian International Movie Awards in Qatar

The eighth South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) will be staged in Qatar for the first time with over 200 celebrities from Indian cinema attending the two-day event. SIIMA is the most-viewed award show in the industry, with awards across four languages: Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.

Legendary actors Chiranjeevi and Mohanlal will be the guests of honor. August 15 will host Kannada and Telegu and August 16 will host Malyalam and Tamil.

Tickets range in price from QR 50-3,000 and are available online.
