Botswana, Kenya to bolster bilateral ties


(MENAFN) Botswana's foreign ministry announced that the country is targeting with Kenya to strengthen their bilateral collaboration and relations in various fields.

This understanding was established before Botswana President Mokgweetsi Masisi heads on a three-day state visit to Kenya.

According to the ministry, "during the state visit, the two heads of state will hold bilateral talks with a view to further deepen and expand bilateral cooperation in various areas of development including agriculture, trade and investment, tourism, defense and security, health, mining and education."

Both sides, Botswana's minister of internationals affairs and cooperation confirmed, are set to explore regional and global matters that are of common interest.
