Kuwait oil price down 70 cents to USD 66.80


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, July 16 (KUNA) -- Price of Kuwaiti crude oil went down 70 cents to USD 66.80 per barrel (pb) Monday after being at USD 67.50 pb last Friday, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Tuesday.
In global markets, oil prices fell on Monday as the resumption of producing limited quantities of offshore oil in the US was interrupted by tropical storm Barry last week, as well as Chinese economic data showing limited demands for crude.
Brent Blend crude went down 24 cents to reach USD 66.48 pb, same did the American crude; down 63 cents to USD 59.58 pb. (end)
