Jordan- KADDB signs MoUs with three local universities
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, July 13 (Petra)- The King Abdullah II Design and Development Bureau (KADDB) announced it has signed three memoranda of understanding (MoU) with Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT), Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST),and Tafila Technical University, under the framework of cooperation with Jordanian higher education institutions.
In a press release on Saturday, KADDB said: "The agreements are aimed at creating and opening joint cooperation in the fields of research, as well as developing the prospects and opportunities for conducting scientific research and engineering manufacturing in all fields."
During the signing ceremony, attended by the universities' presidents, who signed the agreements,KADDB's Director General, Major Gen. (ret.) Mohammed Farghal noted: "the center provides a real opportunity for trainees to engage in its manufacturing processes."
In this context, Farghal reminded of KADDB's launch of the" Future Scientists' Initiative" to create a distinguished human capital capable of keeping abreast of the latest developments in science and technology.
In cooperation with the three universities, Farghal also stressed the importance of opening "wider" cooperation horizonsto build an applied scientific research base.
