Afghanistan- Samangan girl attempts suicide after entry test failure
(MENAFN- Pajhwok Afghan News) AIBAK (Pajhwok): An 18-year-old girl in northern Samangan province attempted suicide over failing in university entrance test but survived after being rushed to hospital, an official said on Thursday.
Education 
director Abdul Yaqin Sarwari said the girl after drinking acid was rushed to hospital by her parents.
Provincial civil hospital director Dr. Jamaluddin Aryun said the girl survived after being provided necessary treatment.
He said hospitals in the north lacked facilities to treat such patients and therefore the girl was sent toKabul for further treatment.
