Croatia hit with violent storm
(MENAFN) Croatia was struck with a massive violent stormy weather Sunday evening, leading to property destruction and inflicting people with wounds.
Striking until early Monday, the big storm mainly had a major impact on Zadar city in Dalmatia as well as the northern part of the Adriatic.
A number of vehicles in Zadar were damaged amid the storm which saw its wind speed stand at over 100 kilometers per hour.
Rescue crews in Zadar managed to save the lives of over 50 people, with a number of foreign visitors among them.
