6 percent surge in Moroccan tourism arrivals
(MENAFN) Morocco witnessed a flourishing tourism from January to April 2019 with a 6 percent boost on annual basis, as it welcomed more than 3.6 million visitors.
Data the Observatory issued showed a 5.3 percent boost in the number of foreign tourists heading to Morocco during the four-month period.
According to statistics, Morocco also registered a 7.8 percent surge in the number of Moroccan expatriates visiting their country.
Traditional European markets contributed significantly in the jump seen in the Moroccan tourism sector during the first four months of the year.
