New Turkish embassy building launched in Guatemala
(MENAFN) Turkey was announced to have opened a new building in its embassy in Guatemala, indicating the strength of bilateral relations between the two countries.
"Guatemala is one of the most important strategic partners of Turkey in Latin America," Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu emphasized during the inauguration ceremony.
Both countries, the foreign minister affirmed, are enjoying tough relations as they expand their collaboration within all areas covering trade and culture.
Cavusoglu further added that Turkey has in across Latin America a consulate general as well as sixteen embassies.
