6 IS terrorists die amid Iraqi operation
(MENAFN) Iraq's army confirmed the death of six IS terrorists during an operation security forces commenced in Anbar, a western province.
Forces killed the terrorists as they attempted to launch a suicide bombing attack wearing explosive belts.
Spokesman Yahya Rasoul revealed the operation to have been conducted by the Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service (CTS) on Monday.
Rasoul stated: "we are working hard to end the cross-border terrorist threat, and the cells (terrorist groups) in our territory."
