ICBF holds farewell of second secretary at Embassy

Doha: Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF) organised a farewell function for ICBF coordinating officer and the second secretary at Embassy of India, Dr Mohammed Aleem, and family. The occasion was attended by Ambassador of India P Kumaran, apex body leaders as well as leaders and members of the community. Members in large numbers came together to bid farewell to Dr Aleem, who was one of the key persons supporting and instrumental in dealing with all labour issues in timely manner. He has been promoted to the Second Secretary recently and will moving soon to consulate of India at Jeddah.

During the Presidential address, ICBF President P Baburajan remembered the services and support rendered by M Aleem during his tenure as coordinating officer and applauded his efforts to increase the activities of ICBF. Indian Cultural Centre President A P Manikantan, Indian Business and Professionals Council President Azim Abbas and Indian Sports Centre President Nilangshu Dey too spoke and remembered their collaboration and support received from Dr Aleem. Ambassador P Kumaran in his speech mentioned how the labour section of the Embassy was further enhanced under the able leadership of Dr Aleem and he also mentioned that the Embassy will be loosing a person who is good hearted and great example of how to deal with people.

ICBF President and Managing Committee presented a memento to Dr Aleem for his support extended to ICBF as a token of appreciation.

Dr Aleem in his reply message thanked Ambassador Kumaran for his support and guidance, due to which he was able to perform his duties to the best of his abilities, he also thanked ICBF Managing Committee, community leaders and members.
