Turkey, Russia execute Idlib demilitarized zone deal
(MENAFN) Turkey and Russia were announced to be currently executing their agreement on creating a demilitarized zone in Syria's Idlib.
Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that his country is happy with the efforts Turkey is making in Idlib.
The spokesman stressed: "the memorandum is being implemented and the militaries are satisfied with how the Turkish side works in this regard."
Turkish President Recep Tayip Erdogan inked a memorandum of understanding with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the establishment of a demilitarized zone in Idlib.
