Doha: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has denounced and rejected the offensive remarks and allegations against the Amir of the sisterly State of KuwaitH H Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah by a host on an Arab satellite channel.
Lulwah Rashid Al Khater, Spokesperson of the Ministry in a statement to Qatar News Agency, stressed that the Amir of Kuwait is in a position of appreciation by all the Arabs, rulers and peoples and has a distinct status and position in State of Qatar, government and people.
She called on all journalists and media professionals to be more responsible, and precise in their reporting and to give the leaders the due respect and appreciation.
