UAE- Fathima Healthcare Group celebrates 20th anniversary


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) FMC Healthcare Group, based in Dubai, celebrated its 20th anniversary on December 21 at Dubai World Trade Centre.

The programme has been witnessed by many eminent personalities from the government of India and UAE and other social areas.

The celebration began with the national anthem of UAE and India. Indian Consul General, Vipul was the chief guest of the event, Sri Lankan Consul General, Charitha Yattogoda was the guest of honour.

FMC group chairman Dr K.P. Hussain, wife, Dr Beena Hussain - executive director, and daughters Farzana Hussain, Farida Hussain and Fathima Hussain welcomed the guests.

During the event, "White Collar Services" was launched by Indian Consul General Vipul and the brochure was released in the presence of Ali Lufti from Dubai - Health Funding Department and CEOs of major insurance companies like National General Insurance, Union Insurance Company, MetLife, Oman Insurance Company. FMC Group started its operation in UAE in 1997 and during the celebration of its 20th year of success, the group chairman, Dr Hussain honoured the CEOs of its associated insurance companies with Business Awards. As part of honouring the successful partnership from insurance providers, specialty doctors, hospitals, medical centres, and pharmacies were awarded with excellency award. Vipul, while addressing the audience, stated that Dr Hussain, who is widely known as "Peoples Doctor" in UAE and India, is a man who always values the importance and necessity of charity. Dr Hussain believes that it is his mission to help the needy and he always shared a part of the profit from his institution for the social and economic welfare of the fellow beings.

He announced that FMC Network UAE will be conducting medical camps once in every month. This includes Health Awareness programme for the preventive care purposes. Fathima Healthcare Group will be contributing Dh600,000 for the success of this initiative. Every month, 1,000 people will be benefitted from this scheme. FMC Network will select a team of 20 medical practitioners and paramedical staff for this mission based on the data and the disease records in the market and based on the study, the healthcare preventive treatment will resume.
