'Vietnam considering sending domestic workers to Kuwait'


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Dec 21: The Vietnamese Ambassador to Kuwait HE Trinh Minh Manh revealed that his country is considering the possibility of sending domestic workers to Kuwait, reports Al-Rai daily.

In a press statement issued on the sidelines of a meeting on economic affairs held at Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, he indicated about the many attractive aspects behind such a step, affirming that there are also many problems that should be taken into consideration.

The ambassador explained that there are more than 30 Vietnamese companies functioning in Kuwait, most of which are specialized in the field of constructions. The number of Vietnamese workers in the country range from 300 to 400, most of who are working either for construction projects or oil and gas projects.
