Health Minister meets Iranian envoy
HE the Minister of Public Health Dr Hanan Mohamed al-Kuwari met the Iranian ambassador to Qatar, Mohamed Ali Sobhani, yesterday.
The meeting reviewed bilateral relations between both countries and ways to develop them, especially in the health field.
Qatar-Kuwait ties discussed
The Emiri Guard Commander Major General Hazza bin Khalil al-Shahwani met the Military Attache at the embassy of Kuwait to Qatar Brigadier General Huwaidi Sahan al-Hajri, on the occasion of assuming his duties as Military Attache at the embassy.
During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues of common concern in the framework of enhancing co-operation and exchanging military expertise between the two countries.
Qatar attends information ministers' meet
The 21st session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Communication and Information kicked off yesterday at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo.
Qatar's Permanent Representative to the Arab League Saif bin Muqaddam al-Buainain led Qatar's delegation to meeting.
The meeting will discuss the results of the meetings of the specialised technical teams in the fields of telecommunications and information technology, and the outcomes of the World Telecommunication Development Conference held by the International Telecommunication Union in Buenos Aires in October.
The conference adopted five regional initiatives for the Arab region to serve the ICT sector.
