Jordan, UAE discuss educational initiatives

(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Dubai, Nov.26 (Petra) -- Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Adel Al-Twaisi discussed with the Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Finance Minister Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, areas of cooperation between the two countries, mainly initiatives related to the educational process.

During the meeting, which took place on the sidelines of " Knowledge Summit" held in Dubai on November 21-23, the two sides stressed strong brotherly relations between Jordan and the UAE, which are supported by the leaderships in both countries.

Talks between the two officials also touched on means of joint cooperation in the academic and scientific fields, and other various related fields, under the agreements and memorandums of cooperation signed between Jordan and the UAE.

Dubai Knowledge Summit 2017, was held on November 21-22, under the theme "Knowledge and the 4th Industrial Revolution", is a platform that brought together decision makers, thinkers, experts and pioneers in the knowledge industry. During the two -day event scientists, academics and specialists from all around the world, discussed pressing issues and challenges facing the industry, reviewed best practices and experiences and offered solutions to meet current challenges.
