Kuwait- Turkish authorities arrest IS suspects in Bursa, Ankara

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ISTANBUL, Nov 9 (KUNA) -- Turkish security authorities have arrested 27 suspects, including Syrians, in the western state of Bursa as part of a campaign against the the so-called Islamic state (IS), Turkish security sources said Thursday.

The public prosecution in Boursa issued a warrant to arrest 27 suspects for belonging to "Daesh", as the anti-terrorism teams of the Bursa Security Directorate raided their homes in Othman Gazi and Yildirim district, Anadolu News agency said.

Meanwhile, the Turkish security forces have also arrested 101 suspected members of the "Daesh" organization during a large operation in several districts of the capital Ankara. (end) ta.ss
