Jordan- Iraq receives three more US F16 fighter jets

(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Washington, Nov. 2 (Petra) -- Iraq's Ministry of Defence announced on Thursday that it has received three new F16 aircraft from the United States, enhancing the Iraqi air force in light of the ongoing war against the terrorist group Daesh.

The planes arrived at Balad airbase, north of the capital Baghdad, the ministry said in a short statement without giving more detail.
