Press briefing started off oddly with Sarah Sanders
(MENAFN) On Monday, the White House held a press conference which started off with press secretary Sarah Sanders setting up a storytelling assembly.
Sanders started the briefing defending Trump's tax plan, instead of discussing more important matters such as the news relating the accusations against his former aide Paul Manafort and Rick Gates, or even the case of George Papadopoulos, former policy adviser to Trump, who had pleaded guilty to the act of making a false statement to the FBI.
Sanders begun with "I want to start the briefing today by addressing a topic I know all of you are preparing to ask me about, and that's tax reform." She also started demonstrating an analogy for extended tax which involves ten reporters going for beers, as she said it "has been floating around the Internet for a while."
