Kuwait- Scores of illegals, criminals held in massive crackdown
The daily added, the Public Security Sector continues to carry out security campaigns in various residential areas, and highways and roundabout to maintain security around the clock. The daily added, the security campaigns came upon direct instructions from Acting Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Public Security Affairs, Major-General Ibrahim Al- Tarrah in the six governorates.
The daily said, the Farwaniya police managed to arrest an Egyptian for not carrying with him his personal ID and also seized from him a quantity of narcotic pills. He was arrested in Khaitan.
In Mahboula, the patrolmen arrested a citizen for possessing and consuming drugs and seized from him nine drug pills.
In the Capital governorate, security forces arrested a Kuwaiti in Keifan. He was abnormal at the time of arrest. Police have seized from him cannabis and a quantity of chemical substance. He was also wanted by law because he was sentenced in absentia.
During the campaign the securitymen arrested 33 violators of residence law and seized six people possessing and consuming narcotics and four people who had been sentenced in absentia in civil cases. This is in addition to 13 people against whom arrest warrants had been issued, one street vendor, two marginal workers and 67 others for various reasons.
