Qatar- Hamad Medical to open temporary clinic at Sealine next month

Hamad Medical Corporation will open a medical clinic for the winter camping season in Sealine.

The clinic operational from November to March 2018 will be equipped to handle all type of mild to emergency cases. There will be an airstrip along side the clinic in case a critical patient needs to be airlifted to the Hamad hospital.

Sources confirmed for "Al-Sharq" that the medical clinic will open with the beginning of November, to provide best medical care for all citizens and residents. The clinic will be able to treat all sick and emergency cases. There will be a doctor and a nurse at the clinic 24/7 under the supervision of the medical officer of the clinic.

The opening of the clinic comes in line with the annual commitment of the Hamad Medical Corporation to open the medical clinic during the camping season in the Sealine area and to provide its services to all people at Sealine and Khor Al-Adid during the camping period.

During the last camping season, the clinic received 713 cases, including 451 diabetics and 262 non-Qataris. There were about 27 cases when a patient was transferred to Hamad General Hospital emergency using ambulances.
