Saudi- Gunmen obstruct Yemeni PM parade in Luhaj

Aden, Muharram 22, 1439, October 12, 2017, SPA -- Gunmen have intercepted an official parade of Prime Minister Ahmed Obaid bin Dhughr in the province of Luhaj, southern Yemen, preventing him from reaching Al-Sobaiha province where he was scheduled to attend an opening ceremony of the Society College there.
In a statement to Yemeni news agency, Abdrabbou Al-Mehwali, deputy minister of technical education and vocational training, said this evening that a few paid group did this act with the aim to obstruct service projects in the region.
Al-Mehwali said the prime minister avoided entering into a confrontation with gunmen and preferred to go back to continue his field visit to the province and the 3rd brigade Hazm.
