Chongqing: China's biggest spot trading platform for coffee

(MENAFN) The coffee amount of the spot trading on the Chongqing Coffee Exchange reaches 10b Yuan (1.5b USD) starting from August, which makes it the largest spot trading platform of coffee in China.

According to the general director of the Chongqing Coffee Exchange, the coffee consumption in the country has increased by 20% annually, and by 2020, the coffee market is anticipated to attain 600b Yuan.

The coffee trading center has signed Cooperation deals with over 200 household and companies overseas, and is expected to become the third largest coffee trading market, following London and New York.
