
Arab League welcomes Palestine's joining INTERPOL
CAIRO, 29th September, 2017 (WAM) -- The Arab League has welcomed the State of Palestine in acquiring membership of the International Police Organisation, INTERPOL.
During the organisation's General Assembly Meeting in Beijing, 74 states voted in favour of Palestine.
In a press statement, the Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ambassador Saeed Abu Ali, stressed that this step is a success for the Palestinian struggle and concerted Arab action.
