Qatar attends Kuwait conference
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatar yesterday participated in the meetings of the sixth Irregular General Conference of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organisation (ALECSO) held in Kuwait. The Qatar delegation to the meetings was headed by HE the Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr
Mohamed Abdul Wahed Ali al-Hammadi. During the closed session of the conference, Kuwait's Dr Saud al-Harbi was elected director-general of ALECSO from five candidates of Tunisia, Kuwait, Mauritania, Libya and Iraq.
