UAE proclaims USD50mn to aid Caribbean Islands
(MENAFN) The UAE proclaimed the first five projects under the USD50mn UAE-Caribbean Renewable Energy Fund across Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Dominica and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The Fund is a partnership between the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Intl Co-op, which leads the initiative.
Moreover, the projects show the first funding cycle, which aims to announce projects with more than 16 Caribbean nations over the coming two to three years.
