Kuwait- MoSAL cancels 'fingerprinting' exemptions for all employees
The circular revealed all external tasks given to some employees who work outside the headquarters or their work places will be cancelled, indicating the external assignments should be carried out within a day and the reasons for working outside must be valid. An employee must not be assigned outside for two consecutive days, or if more days are needed to complete the work, the approval of the concerned assistant undersecretary must be obtained.
The circular added that only the employees with medium to severe disability are exempted, provided they submit a certificate issued by the Public Authority for Handicapped Affairs (PAHA). Consequently, all employees previously exempted from the fingerprints system should visit the Personnel Affairs Department within 10 days to avoid any problem once the decision takes effect by the beginning of October.
