
UAE condemns terrorist attack in Nasiriyah, Iraq
ABU DHABI, 15th September, 2017 (WAM) -- The United Arab Emirates has condemned the terrorist attack on civilians near the city of Nasiriyah, southern Iraq.
In its statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has condemned this cowardly terrorist act while stressing the UAE's firm stance that rejects all forms of violence and terrorism, which target everyone, regardless of their religion or race.
The statement also highlighted the UAE's solidarity with the Government of the Republic of Iraq in facing violence and terrorism while calling on the international community to unite against and eliminate this serious scourge, which threatens international security and stability.
At the end of the statement, the ministry expressed its condolences to the government and people of Iraq and the families of the victims while wishing them a speedy recovery.
