Turkish army kills seven PKK militants SE Turkey, N. Iraq
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ANKARA, Sept 9 (KUNA) -- Turkey's army killed at least seven militants belonging to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in southeastern Turkey and northern Iraq, official media reported Saturday.
Around four PKK sources were killed in a drone strike in Hakkari province, Hakkari Governor's Office stated, according to Anadolu Agency (AA).
Meanwhile, PKK militants in northern Iraq fired mortars at Turkish forces in Cukurca district of Hakkarim, prompting forces to engage in a confrontation, which killed three militants. (end) rs.ma
