Kuwait- KRCS distributes sacrifice meats on displaced Syrians in Lebanon

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BEIRUT, Aug 3 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) has distributed hundreds of sacrifice meats on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha on Syrian families in Lebanon.
Head of KRCS' team in Lebanon Qassim Al-Baloushi said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the distribution included the areas of Akkar in the north, in addition to camps in the Bekaa valley.
He pointed out that the distribution of meats is to reiterate keenness of the State of Kuwait in supporting the needy and displaced Syrian families in Lebanon.
Since the beginning of the Syrian crisis, KRCS has launched several food and medical aid projects that benefitted scores of Syrian refugees in Lebanon and other countries in the region.(end).
