Qatar Rail delivers first batch of Metro trains
(MENAFN) Qatar Railways has received the first batch of four trains out of a whole of 75 trains of the Doha Metro, two months ahead of schedule.
Meanwhile, the remaining trains will receive as organized to start the testing process and be ready in time for the first phase of operations by 2020.
In addition, the trains will be transported to Qatar Rail's Al Wakra Depot where they will be reassembled and tested for the operational phase.
Currently, Qatar Rail proclaimed that the progress of Doha Metro Phase 1 Program now stands at almost 62 percent.
