Morocco Shares Drop 0.25% After Euphoric Friday


(MENAFN- Morocco World News) Rabat – Moroccan All Shares Index opened Monday's session with a 0.25 percent drop after a euphoric Friday, when the MASI registered a historic 1.89 percent high.

The Casablanca Stock Exchange volumes reached over MAD 7 million 45 minutes after open trade.

Marsa Maroc recorded the highest volume at MAD 2.66 million and gained 1.81 percent at MAD 151.7 per dividend, a new record for the value, which increased by nearly 30 percent since the beginning of the year.

The session is also marked by morning movements on Addoha and Alliances, which gained 1.84 percent and 1.85 percent respectively. The two real estate companies are ranked second and fourth in terms of volumes.

Lesieur Cristal posted a remarkable rise of 5.30 percent in the first exchanges at MAD 160. The value drained MAD 1.2 million of traded volumes and recorded the second volumetry of the day so far.

The worst performers of this morning's session so far are Ennakl, which dropped by 4.64 percent trading at MAD 56.90 per dividend, followed by Saham Assurance with a 4.48 percent loss at MAD 1,407. In third place comes Risma, which fell by 2.74 percent at MAD 111.85 per share.

The EUR/MAD registered a sharp drop falling to MAD 10.99, while USD/MAD fell 0.02 percent to 9.66.
