Beirut airport passenger traffic grows by 7pct
(MENAFN) Traffic at Rafik Hariri Intl Airport grew by 7 percent in the Jan-June period of this year, while 3.5mn passengers passed amid the airport, up from 3.3mn over the same period of 2016.
Accordingly, the number of expatriates passing amid the airport grew, as did the number of emigrants, whereas the number of transit passengers dropped.
Moreover, in total, 30.009 commercial flights crossed amid Beirut's airport, with four more flights departing then arriving.
However, private flights dropped, with three more flights arriving in Lebanon then departing, while private transit flights grew to 267 flights.
