Qatari swimmers train in Armenia
Doha: National swimming team left for Armenia yesterday to join a training camp which will continue until July 21.
Al Annabi's delegation includes two coaches Christos Paparodopoulos and Yuri Vlasov and masseur Dimitri Sverski Medlaka along with eight swimmers: Noah Al Khulaifi, Yaqoub Al Khulaifi, Omar Hisham, Nasser Yasser, Abdullah Abu Ghazala, Abdulrahman Hisham, Abdul Aziz Al Obaidli and Yousef Hisham.
The camp is part of the Qatari team's ongoing preparations for the upcoming events.
Swimmers Yaqoub Al Khulaifi and Abdullah Abu Ghazala are scheduled to take part in the Championships FINA World Aquatics Championships due to be held in Budapest, Hungary from July 14 to 30 while Abdullah Abu-Ghazaleh will participate in the first round of the airweave Swimming World Cup 2017 Moscow, Russia on August 2 and ( 25m pool).
Swimmers Abdulrahman Hisham and Abdul Aziz Al Obaidli will participate in the second round in the German capital Berlin on August 6 -7 and the third round in the Dutch city of Eindhoven on August 11-12.
On the other hand, the Qatari diving team left for Republic of Belarus yesterday to take part in a camp until July 22. The team includes Hamad Baghith ( administrator), coaches Adriya Sheridj and Mohamed Mustafa along with divers Abdulaziz Belghith, Shadi Salah, Mohammed Al Malki, Abdul Aziz Al Malki, Abdullah Khalifa, Mohammed Al Kuwari, Jaber Almas, Abdullah Al Yaqoub, Ahmed Al Ali, Issa Al Ali and Khalifa Al abdullah.
