Oman- Al Maha Petroleum wins two major contracts worth RO91mn
(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Al Maha petroleum Products Marketing Co won two major contracts estimated to be worth around RO91mn from Rural Areas Electricity Co (RAECO) and national transport company Mwasalat.
The first tender is for the supply and delivery of fuel gas oil to RAECO for the amount of RO73mn, while the second tender is for design, built, operate and maintain new fuel station for Mwasalat at its headquarters for an amount of RO18mn, Al Maha Petroleum said in a filing to the Muscat Securities market on Thursday. The company said that the estimated value of awarded tenders is likely to be changing based on monthly fuel price notification from the Ministry of Oil & Gas.
The tender for the supply and delivery of fuel gas oil to RAECO is for a period of two years starting from September 1, 2017 to supply more than 380mn litres of gas oil. The second tender is for design, built, operate and maintain new fuel station for Mwasalat at its headquarters and also to supply fuel for all the buses starting from May 31, 2017 for a period of ten years or 100mn litres whichever comes first.
