US software firm to operate in 10 Asian cities by 2020

(MENAFN) A US software company which chose Singapore for the globe first public trial of driverless taxis, aims to operate in 10 Asian and US cities by 2020.
Accordingly, the firm also aims tests by early next year in three other Asian nations which were declined to name.
In addition, more than a dozen people in Singapore have experienced a ride in the robo-taxi among the confines on one-north.
The recent test car, a modified Mitsubishi I-MiEV elect vehicle, piles a 2.5 square mile area with set pick-up and drop off points.
