Turkish Airlines records USD224m Q2 loss


(MENAFN) Turkish Airlines faced a loss of USD224.02mn in the second quarter of this year, posting a net profit of 661mn lira in the same period of 2015.

On the other hand, its sales in the same quarter increased to 7.1bn lira from 6.8bn lira in the same period of 2015.

The firm proclaimed a target load factor, which measures and airline capacity utilization of 72-74 percent, while in 2015 its load factor was 78 percent.
