Fallen oil prices not to affect Bolivia's economy
(MENAFN) Bolivian minister of economy has said that Bolivia's low revenue in exports of natural gas will not impact the country's growth, which is expected to stand at 5 percent in 2016.
The strength of Bolivia's domestic economy would make 2016 a stable year for the South American country, despite drops in oil and mineral prices over the past couple of year.
Moreover, the low prices of oil have cut into Bolivia's revenue, as well as in natural gas exports to Argentina and Brazil.
However, the minister said the worst was over and that if prices continued to fall, they would do so by a far smaller margin and could be absorbed by the country's public finances.
