Egypt sets up social housing projects at USD10bn


(MENAFN) The value of Egyptian social housing projects is estimated at USD10bn, as stated the minister of housing.

Accordingly, the Mortgage Finance Fund is depending on self-financing, in order to carry out its projects, while the government has allocated USD1bn pounds.

In addition, the ministry has also executed 180.000 housing units, which is recently building 351.000.

Meanwhile, the units grew to 531 units, while some of them will be finished by the end of this year and others will be delivered by next April and June.
