Ireland strives for extensive trade collaboration with Iran
(MENAFN) Ireland is eagerly seeking to tap into the year's largest trade opportunity, which consists of refreshing its trade ties with Iran and revamping a new dual business strategy.
The European Republic has already conducted exploratory visits in 2015 evaluating market opportunities for client companies in Iran, thus waiting for the sanctions to be terminated.
The Irish interest in the Persian-Gulf nation expands beyond the typical oil/gas plans to include areas of healthcare, IT and communications, not to mention agriculture.
"Ireland is the only country in the EU without a trade mission in the Islamic Republic, therefore reopening of the Irish embassy is a top priority," stated a top Irish economist.
