(MENAFN) Oman is in talks for the implementation of GCC Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) system.
Accordingly, the project reached the stage of floating the request for proposals for identifying the vendor to apply the project.
The purpose of the system is to process high value payments in low volume transactions, which grows transparency, efficiency and safety.
Among 2015, as many as 502.501 transactions went through the system, recording an increase of 7.68 percent compared to 2014.
