Saudi- Killer of Security Man Executed in Taif

Taif, Sha'ban 22, 1437, May 29, 2016, SPA -- The Interior Ministry issued a statement today on the execution of a criminal in the city of Taif, saying that Fahd bin Bakr bin Mohammed Hawsawi - Nigerian national - had deliberately murdered a security man named Abdul-Ghani Al-Thubaity by knocking him down on the ground and hitting his head on the ground several times to death before trying to escape when hitting another security man and wounding him.
Investigation with the criminal has resulted in charging him of committing the crime and he was referred to the court which proved him guilty, and issued a verdict to execute him.
The judgment was also referred to the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court which upheld it and a Royal Decree was issued for enforcement.
The statement said that the perpetrator / Fahd bin Bakr bin Mohammed Hawsawi was executed in Taif today.
As the Ministry of the Interior announces this, it confirms that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' government is keen on maintaining security and justice and warns at the same time that whoever commits such a crime would be legally punished thereof.
