Egypt's Orascom receives USD 308mn deals
(MENAFN) Egypt's Orascom Construction has received two deals value USD 308mn for work on the third phase of Cairo's third metro line.
Moreover, the deals will bring the whole value of the firm's share of the third phase of the metro line to USD 419mn.
In addition, the third phase of the metro will stretch across 18 km of tunneling and bridge works which will involve 15 elevated, grade and underground stations.
The company won a USD 180mn contract for work on the first phase of the expansion in 2007 trailed by contracts value USD 140mn for the second phase.
